Welcome to Hamilton & Your 2017 ALLIANCE Hockey Tyke Festival
Hamilton, ON - FUN, FUN and more FUN will be on the agenda for this weekend's 2017 ALLIANCE Hockey Tyke Festival being hosted in Hamilton, ON at the Chedoke Twin Pad Arena.  The TYKE Festival is a year-end celebration for players who have been learning the game all season and where fun and fair play are highlighted.

A total of 18 teams will play 4 games using 4oz pucks, mini nets, no icing rule, 3-goals/player maximum and 2 minute shifts.

"The goal of the ALLIANCE Hockey Tyke Festival has always been to ensure that all players have an enjoyable experience," said Tony Martindale, ALLIANCE Hockey Executive Director.  "The Festival places an emphasis on having fun and by using blue (4oz) pucks, the mini nets, the buzzer system, etc. this goal will be achieved."

Following in the footsteps of the new Hockey Canada policy which now mandates that Initiation-aged players receive age-appropriate programming on cross-ice or half-ice surfaces, the Tyke Festival will continue to be player-focused and implement any necessary changes for future events.

Thank you to the Hamilton Minor Hockey Initiation Program for stepping up to host the Festival! We appreciate your time and hard work!

We wish all participants a great weekend...and have FUN!
