of our Member Partners, welcome to Kitchener and the 2017 ALLIANCE Hockey Midget
Minor Development Championships!
We would like to recognize the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association for their work in hosting these Championships. Their dedication and efforts are greatly appreciated by all of the teams and families throughout ALLIANCE Hockey.
As another hockey season comes to a close, it is important that we remember a couple of things;
We are the custodians of this great game and we must never forget that the young athletes that play this game are not only the citizens of tomorrow but are also the future caretakers of the game. We must do everything we can to ensure a positive experience for these young people.
Yes, winning is important but there is so much more to winning than the final score. Valuable life skills are at stake. Teaching honesty, fair play, hard work, teamwork and learning how to accept and learn from defeat are important skills for our young athletes and future citizens. As coaches, managers, referees, administrators and above all parents, we have the opportunity to make lasting impressions on these athletes. We must make sure they are positive ones…ones the children will look back on 20 years from now with laughter and good memories.
Let’s make these 2017 ALLIANCE Hockey Midget MD Championships an event to remember!
