The 2015 Alliance IBAO MD Championships Wrap Up with the Bantam, Minor Midget and Midget Divisons Being Decided
The 2015 Alliance IBAO MD Championships have drawn to a close with champions being decided in the final six divisions.  The St, Catharines Hurricanes Midget team shown here captured the Midget Tier 2 Championship.


In Bantam Tier 2, the North London Nationals faced off against the London Bandits Orange, defeating them with a final score of 3-2

In Bantam Tier 1, The London Bandits Black battled the Sarnia Jr Sting to a 2-1 decision.

In Minor Midget Tier 2, Kitchener Rangers Red defeated the Brantford Saints by a 5-3 score.

In Minor Midget Tier 1, The Waterloo Ice Wolves downed the North London Nationals to capture the championship, with a 2-0 score.

In Midget Tier 2, the St. Catharines Hurricanes defeated the Waterloo Wolves with a 3-2 score in overtime.

In Midget Tier 1, the Cambridge Hawks captured the title with a 3-0 victory over the North London Nationals.


The 2015 Alliance MD Championships ended the season with an exciting three days of hockey that saw 19 teams win championships.  Congratulations to all those teams that won and also to those teams that came and gave it their all.  This weekend, St. Catharines saw some exciting and competitive hockey that we won't soon forget.  Thank you to the sponsors and volunteers who helped make the event possible and thank you to the teams who came and put on such a good show of Canada's favourite sport!!!
