IBAO Alliance MD Championships, First Champions Crowned
The first four Alliance MD Champions of the 2014 tournament have been crowned in Novice Tier I, Novice Tier II, Tier III and Minor Atom Tier II.
In Novice Tier I, the Kitchener Rangers Red met the Hamilton Spitfires on Sportsplex #1 and defeated them by a score of 4-1.
In Novice Tier II, Woodstock Blue defeated the Brantford 99ers 2-1.
In Novice Tier III, Burlington Black defeated West London Black by a score of 2-1.
In Minor Atom Tier II, the Hamilton Spitfires defeated the St. Catharines Hurricanes by a score of 3-1.
All three games were thrilling close games decide by late goals in the final minutes of play. Action will continue with more finals on all four ice surfaces until the mid afternoon. Come by and cheer for your favourite team!!!!
