Alliance MD Championships Open with a Flurry of Games
The IBAO Alliance MD Championships opened this morning with a full slate of games at 8 ice surfaces in St. Catharines.
Games started at 8:00 this morning with Novice and Minor Atom teams in action. Shown here is the St. Catharines Novice T3 team in action against the Burlington Bulldogs. Burlington went on to win the game 8-3. In other Novice Tier III action, the London Bandits defeated West London Black 5-2
In Novice Tier I, the Hamilton Spitfires defeated the Kitchener Rangers Red 2-1 and the Oakridge Aeros tied the West London Hawks 3-3.
In Novice Tier II action, Oakridge T2 tied the London Bandits 3-3.
In Minor Atom Tier II, the St. Catharine Hurricanes slipped by the Hamilton Spitfires 3-2 and the Oakridge Aeros topped the North London Nationals 1-0.
