The
sixteenth annual Alliance MD Championships are set to open in St. Catharines on
Friday April 11th.
The St. Catharines CYO Hurricanes organization would like to extend a warm welcome to all those teams that will be traveling to the Garden City to participate. Play downs from Novice through Midget are now complete and the competing teams are set!! Seventy six teams are ready to descend on the Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre and other area arenas to give their all in the quest for Alliance MD hockey supremacy. Teams qualified to compete are listed below.
Novice
In the Novice age group teams will be competing for the Tier I, Tier II and Tier III Championships.
Tier I
In Tier I, Kitchener Rangers Red and the Hamilton Spitfires from the East/Central Division will be competing with West London Hawks T1 and Oakridge Aeros T1 from the West Division.
Tier II
In Tier II, Brantford Saints I and Woodstock Navy Vets Blue from the East Central Division will be competing with the Oakridge Aeros T2 and London T2 form the West Division.
Tier III
In Tier III, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Burlington Bulldogs Black from the East/Central Division will be competing with London Minor and West London Black from the West Division.
Minor Atom
Tier I
In Minor Atom Tier I, Kitchener Rangers Blue and the Hamilton Phantoms from the East/Central Division will be competing with London Bandits Black and the West London Hawks from the West Division, for the Tier I championship.
Tier II
In Minor Atom Tier II, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Hamilton Spitfires will be competing with the North London Nationals and the Oakridge Aeros from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.
Atom
Tier I
In Atom Tier I, Kitchener Rangers Red and the Hamilton Spitfires from the East/Central Division will be competing with the Oakridge Aeros and the Sarnia Sting from the West Division, for the Tier I championship.
Tier II
In Atom Tier II, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Watreloo Timberwolves from the East/Central Division will be competing with West London Hawks and London Bandits Black from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.
Minor Peewee
Tier I
In Minor Peewee Tier I, the Brantford Saints and the Kitchener Rangers Blue from the East/Central Division will be competing with London Bandits Orange and the West London Hawks from the West Division, for the Tier I championship.
Tier II
In Minor Peewee Tier II, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Hamilton Spitfires from the East/Central Division will be competing with the North London Nationals and the Sarnia Sting from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.

Tier I
In Peewee Tier I, the Cambridge Hawks and the Hamilton Tigers from the East/Central Division will be competing with the Sarnia Sting and the North London Nationals from the West Division, for the Tier I championship.
Tier II
In Peewee Tier II, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Hamilton Cyclones from the East/Central Division will be competing with the Stratford Warriors and Oakridge Aeros from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.
Minor Bantam
Tier I
In Minor Bantam Tier I, Kitchener Rangers Red and Waterloo Ice Wolves from the East/Central Division will be competing with London Bandits Orange and the Sarnia Sting from the West Division, for the Tier I championship.
Tier II
In Minor Bantam Tier II, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Hamilton Cyclones from the East/Central Division will be competing with the North London Nationals and the Stratford Warriors from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.
Bantam
Tier I
In Bantam Tier I, the Hamilton Phantoms and the Hamilton Tigers from the East/Central Division will be competing with the West London Black and the London Bandits Black from the West Division, for the Tier I championship.
Tier II
In Bantam Tier II, the host St. Catharines Hurricanes and the Cambridge Hawks from the East/Central Division will be competing with the North London Nationals and West London White from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.

In Midget Tier II, the Hamilton Spitfires and the Hamilton Phantoms and Brantford Saints from the East/Central Division will be competing with the Sarnia Sting from the West Division, for the Tier II championship.
