2014 IBAO Alliance MD Champions in Bantam, Minor Midget and Midget Crowned
When I last posted this afternoon, Twelve of 19 champions had been determined and there were seven finals left to be completed. Since then, all remaining championships were completed.
Champions in Minor Bantam Tier I, Bantam Tiers I & II, Minor Midget Tiers I & II and Midget Tiers I& II were determined.
In Minor Bantam Tier I, the Sarnia Sting were victorious over the Waterloo Ice Wolves with a score of 4-2.
In Bantam Tier I, the Hamilton Phantoms downed the Hamilton Tigers 4-0 to take the Bantam Tier I Crown.
In Bantam Tier II, the Cambridge Hawks won over the North London Nationals with a 2-1 score.
In Minor Midget Tier I, the North London Nationals topped the Oakridge Aeros 7-4 to claim the championship.
In Minor Midget Tier II, the Cambridge Hawks were victorious over the London Bandits Black with a 4-2 score.
In Midget Tier I, Kitchener Rangers Red topped the Cambridge Hawks 2-1 to claim the title.
In Midget Tier II, The Hamilton Spitfires won out over the Brantford Saints with a 3-2 score.
On behalf of the St. Catharines CYO Hurricanes and the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario, the Tournament organizing committee would like to congratulate all of the winning teams and all of the teams who competed this weekend and treated us to a weekend of fantastic hockey!!
